Hope you had a good summer! We have a lot of news about our apps, Black Sabbath, Tahoe, and of course IBC.

IBC

Our yearly home game, IBC in Amsterdam is our team's favorite trade show - because they can all be there to talk to you. If you've never been there, you definitely should consider coming over. Don't worry about having to hang out inside the conference center for 4 days; there are plenty of meetups in and around Amsterdam.

This year, we have a great booth guest: iodyne. They'll be showing a bunch of workflows where our apps work together seamlessly with their Pro Data storage. Come say hi, we're at booth 7.32 👋

Each year, we have people coming to the booth asking "what's new" - well, this year, besides the regular stuff, we have something special to show you. Mention the code word "apple pie" to a Hedge guy, and we'll let you in on a little secret 🤫

Pro tip from us locals: don't stay in Amsterdam, but book a hotel in Utrecht, Haarlem, Leiden, Amersfoort, or Alkmaar - all are beautiful and vibe-y medieval cities barely 30 minutes from Amsterdam, by train.

Avid, avid, avid…

This year, we're showing a lot of new things concerning Media Composer: we just released EditReady 25.3 with full support for DNxHR, making life a lot easier for Avid editors (and AEs!) everywhere:

We also released a bunch of Mimiq updates, with support for Suite Studios and a slew of additional Workspaces functionality, plus a handful more update on the way:

That's not all - we're adding Media Composer support to PostLab. Not on MC's Ultimate plan? You'll now have a way to collaborate, too. We'll publish a blog on how to do so soon, together with the release of PostLab 25.5.

Ta-woe

Very soon, macOS 26 Tahoe will be released. Big warning: it won't be smooth sailing if you don't update your apps. While it may not look like a big macOS update, under the hood a lot has changed - so much that we'll be forced to release major updates for OffShoot, Mimiq, and Canister. We'll do so on the day Tahoe becomes available. If your license is no longer eligible for those updates, we'll email you about what to do next before Tahoe drops.
