Search, Sort, and Filter

Sometimes features are so obvious they're just fun to work on, and this was no exception. Search, Sort, and Filter helps teams quickly find the right lockable network share or Workspace. Type to search, then hit escape to clear. Sort and Filter are available via the pop-out menu.

Workspace Discovery

For teams moving to Mimiq, Workspace Discovery makes light work of turning those folders containing Avid MediaFiles into Workspaces. Simply choose the location you want to scan, then let Mimiq do the rest.

Still hanging out on SANFusion?

If you're still on Intel Macs and you’ve been relying on the now-defunct SANFusion for bin locking your Xsan or StorNext, Workspace Discovery is trained to recognize 'SFWS' bundles. That means migrating is 100% pain free, as you get to keep your existing project structure while moving to a future-ready bin-locking solution. Think of it as a soft landing for SANFusion veterans. Do I have to wait to open my presents?

Not this year! Mimiq 25.6 for Mac / 25.5 for Windows is now available via in-app update, or from the installers listed here.
