This is only the second time we’ve had to publish a blog about a new macOS release, so when we do, it’s for a reason. Eight years ago, we had to put oout a warning about High Sierra. Today, we’re doing it for Tahoe.

Ta-woes

While the overall feeling of Tahoe's betas is that it's pretty solid, and most Hedge apps work as is, Tahoe introduces breaking changes for three of our apps.

If you have OffShoot, Canister, or Mimiq installed, you will need to update your software before using them on Tahoe.

At the latest, we’ll be releasing three new major updates on the day Tahoe drops. Just check for updates in-app, or keep an eye on the Releases pages for each app in our docs. In the case you have a license that’s no longer eligible for updates, log in to the License Manager to extend it:
